Biography
Jennifer Cryder, CPA, MBA, is not your average CEO. She’s a TRAILBLAZER, a strategist, and a CPA who’s turning the world of accounting into something bold, inclusive, and future-focused. As the CEO of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), she brings real-world experience and visionary leadership to an industry that’s evolving fast—and she’s making sure no one gets left behind.
Jen started her journey in public accounting, but her career quickly expanded into finance, operations, mergers & acquisitions, business development, and nonprofit leadership. She’s not just good at numbers—she’s a master at solving PROBLEMS, leading change, and creating opportunities for others to grow.
In 2021, she made history as the first woman CEO in PICPA’s 125-year LEGACY. That’s a huge milestone, but for Jen, it’s just the beginning. She leads with transparency, integrity, and a deep commitment to empowering others—especially the next generation of CPAs and business leaders.
In 2023, she was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today in both 2023 and 2024, and was also recognized as one of the Most Influential CEOs by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
